FloPlast and Countrystyle proudly celebrate their ten year anniversary working together to significantly increase landfill diversion rates.
Founded in 1991, FloPlast established itself as a leading manufacturer and supplier of Plastic Building and Plumbing systems with an expanding client base throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe.
FloPlast offers low maintenance solutions to both domestic and commercial buildings; with an extensive range of PVC-UE Cellular Foam Fascia, Soffit & Cladding, Rainwater, Soil & Waste, Underground Drainage, MDPE and Hot & Cold Plumbing systems.
Countrystyle and FloPlast began working together in 2008, starting with a basic recycling collection. Countrystyle instigated a waste minimisation programme in order to manage the significant volume of packaging waste produced by FloPlast. Incorporating a baling press on site, cardboard and plastic waste is collected, baled and stored until a sufficient volume of material can be retrieved by Countrystyle’s dedicated fleet.
FloPlast take great pride in consistently delivering high standards and are one of the first companies within their industry to achieve BS EN ISO 9001:2015, BS EN ISO 18001, BS EN ISO 50001:2011 and BS EN ISO 14001:2015. Reaching a ten year milestone working together, FloPlast and Countrystyle continue to develop their environmental credentials to current and potential customers.
Commenting on the anniversary, FloPlast QUESH Manager Neil Harrison said: “Countrystyle have been working with FloPlast since 2008 and are the primary reason why we have been able to develop new waste streams and methodologies.
“Countrystyle have helped us to attain in 100% landfill diversion, they have also been an instrumental partner in ensuring that FloPlast are up to speed with all current innovations and regulations. This relates to both waste management and continual support in reviewing their services to us whilst ensuring waste is dealt with in an efficient and cost effective manner.”
