Further investment has recently seen 2 new Silo’s being installed at FloPlast’s UK production facility in Sittingbourne, Kent.
The 18m high units, that house the raw material, ensure that FloPlast has an increased bulk storage stock holding, bringing the total capacity to 790 tonnes. Following the global events of the past 2 years, being able to hold greater quantities of material on site ensures a greater buffer level, should availability fluctuations happen again.
Operations Director, Malcolm Gibson, explains “FloPlast has always looked to invest in manufacturing and production equipment throughout the years. The upgrading and modernisation of the plant and equipment has always been a priority of the business.”
